Halo was born during a time of uncertainty but built on a dream I had carried for years. After working in a variety of salons and always imagining something more personal, I finally created a space that feels like home. Opening Halo during the pandemic was a leap of faith—and the beginning of something truly special.
The name “Halo” was inspired by an early dream of opening a salon in an old church. While that vision eventually took a different path—and a different location—the name stuck. It felt right, and it continues to represent the sense of light, care, and calm I always hoped to create in this space.

Meet Jennifer Milletics –
Salon Owner
I’m Jennifer Milletics, a stylist with over 27 years of experience serving the amazing people of DuBois and surrounding areas. Throughout my career, my greatest joy has come from helping people feel like their most confident, comfortable selves—and building meaningful, lasting connections along the way.
What began as a vision for a warm, welcoming salon has evolved into a thriving space focused on personalized care and lasting relationships. Over the years, I’ve specialized in gray coverage and natural, dimensional highlights, with a focus on low-maintenance styles that enhance natural beauty and suit each client’s lifestyle. My approach has always been personal and thoughtful, focusing on styles that feel effortless and evolve with your life—not just trends.
As the salon has grown, so has my role. I’ve begun the process of transitioning away from behind the chair to focus on nurturing the business and supporting our wonderful team. This shift allows me to care more deeply for the guests already in my chair and to expand our services—especially for those seeking wig solutions and gentle, customized care. While I’m no longer accepting new haircut and color clients, my heart remains fully in this work, and I’m here to ensure every guest’s experience continues to reflect the love and intention Halo was built on.

When I’m not in the salon, I love spending time in the kitchen baking or diving into a sewing project—there’s something so satisfying about creating with my hands. You’ll also often find me out on the trails or exploring new places with my husband, Steve. Whether we’re biking, road-tripping, or just enjoying a quiet weekend together, I cherish every moment we get to share.

If you’re looking for a stylist who brings both skill and personality to every appointment, Tanya is your girl. With over 15 years in the beauty industry, she’s built a reputation for creating stunning transformations—and making every guest feel confident, cared for, and right at home in her chair.
Tanya is certified in multiple hair extension methods and specializes in bringing long-hair goals to life—whether you're dreaming of beachy mermaid waves, extra volume, or a touch of added length for that effortlessly glam finish. She’s passionate about staying current with the latest trends and techniques through ongoing education, so you’re always in expert hands.
While Tanya welcomes all hair types and styles, her heart lies with long hair. From natural maintenance to full extension transformations, she has a true talent for enhancing your look while keeping it true to you.
Outside the salon, Tanya is a proud millennial mom who finds joy in balancing family life with her creative career. You’ll often find her embracing the chaos with a smile, a sense of humor—and an iced coffee in hand.

Meet Kennedi –

Kennedi is one of the rising stars at Halo—a fresh talent with a passion for creating effortless, lived-in styles that grow out beautifully and reflect your unique vibe. With three years in the industry, she’s continually growing her skills and staying inspired through hands-on experience, education, and a genuine love for making her clients feel confident and cared for.
Her specialties include dimensional blonding, low-maintenance color, and soft, modern looks that are as easy to wear as they are eye-catching. Kennedi focuses on enhancing your natural beauty in a way that feels current, wearable, and completely you.
In addition to hair, Kennedi is also a talented nail artist. Whether you're into subtle neutrals or bold, expressive shades, she brings the same attention to detail and creativity to every manicure and pedicure. It's all about the little things that leave you feeling polished from head to toe.
Outside the salon, Kennedi is a proud big sister (second oldest of five!) and a devoted dog mom to her playful Pitbull–Catahoula Leopard mix. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her spending time with family, browsing outlet shops, or enjoying the outdoors with friends.
